 이에 따라 청도군 산림지역 전역에 대한 입산이 별도의 해제 시까지 금지되며, 행정명령을 위반할 경우 관련 법에 따라 형사처벌 또는 최대 100만원의 과태료가 부과된다.

청도군은 지난달 22일 산불재난위기경보 ‘심각’ 단계가 발령된 이후, 선제적으로 전 직원의 절반을 리별책임구역에 배치하고, 마을 이장단 및 의용소방대 등 지역 주민들과 함께 산불 예방 홍보 활동을 진행하고 있다. 

또한, 산불 발생 취약시간대를 고려해 전문 예방진화대 38명과 감시진화대 93명의 근무 시간을 조정하는 등 산불 예방에 총력을 기울이고 있다.

청도군은 3월 28일 군청 제1회의실에서 산불 예방을 위한 긴급 회의를 소집하고, 실과소 및 읍면장에게 특단의 조치를 취할 것을 당부한 바 있다.

김하수 청도군수는 “최근 건조한 날씨와 강풍으로 산불 발생 위험이 매우 높아졌다”며, “군민 모두가 산불에 대한 경각심을 가지고, 산림 연접지의 주택 아궁이, 화목보일러 재처리, 논밭두렁 소각 행위를 절대 금지해 주기를 바란다”고 강조했다.
