22일 청도군에 따르면 우선배려 창구는 저출산․고령화 시대에 맞추어 사회적 배려가 필요한 노약자, 장애인, 임산부 등 이웃에게 따뜻한 관심을 실천하는 문화를 확산시키고, 사회적 편의를 증진하기 위하여 만들어진 창구이다.

기존의 협소한 창구를 더 확대하여 각종 제증명, 민원접수 및 민원상담 등 각종 민원서비스를 한곳에서 편리하게 제공받을 수 있도록 운영할 계획이다.

청도군은 이 밖에도 휠체어, 확대경, 보청기 등 사회적 약자를 배려하여 민원 편의용품을 민원과 내 배치하여 민원인이 언제든 사용할 수 있도록 제공하고 있다.

김하수 청도군수는 “이번 우선배려 창구 확대 운영을 시작으로 앞으로도 사회적 약자를 배려하는 눈높이 맞춤형 편의 제공으로 마음이 따뜻해지는 민원서비스를 실천하여 함께 살고 싶은 행복한 청도를 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
