19일 청도군에 따르면 지역구 국회의원인 이만희 의원을 비롯해 주호영 국회 부의장, 구자근 예결특위 간사를 차례로 면담하며, 청도군 주요 사업의 중요성과 국비 지원 필요성을 적극적으로 설명했다.

특히 이날 면담에서는 △경산~청도 간 도시 광역철도망 구축, △청도 자연드림파크 일반산업단지 조성, △덕암지구 하수관로 정비사업, △각남면 녹명1리 하수관로 정비사업, △실경 뮤지컬 「화랑 천년의 문턱에 꽃비 내리다」제작, △유아친화형 국민체육센터 건립사업, △풍각지구 배수개선사업 등을 설명하고, 국비 확보를 위해 힘을 모아 줄 것을 적극 요청했다.

청도군은 현재 1차 가내시 기준, 2025년도 국·도비 확보액은 2024년 대비 103억 원이 증액된 2,243억 원으로 부족한 재원을 국·도비 확보를 통해 미래 성장 동력을 만들어 가고 있다.

김하수 청도군수는 "갈수록 열악해지는 지방재정 여건을 극복하기 위해지역 현안 사업들에 반드시 국비 예산이 반영될 수 있도록, 앞으로도 국회와 긴밀히 협력하며 모든 노력을 다하겠다. 지역 발전을 위한 우리의 노력은 멈추지 않는 열차처럼 계속해서 달려갈 것”이라고 국비 확보에 대한 강력한 의지를 밝혔다.
