이날 보고회에서는 미래 50년 먹거리 확보를 위해 5대 미래산업 관련 신규 사업 발굴을 중심으로 안정적인 국비확보를 위한 대응 방안을 논의했다.

예비타당성 조사 및 기본계획 연구용역 등 사전절차가 진행 중인 사업에 대해서는 정부 부처 안 신청 전까지 모든 절차를 마무리해 정부 예산안에 반영될 수 있도록 적극 노력하기로 했다.

특히 국가로봇테스트 필드사업(총 2,999억 원), 모빌리터 모터 혁신기술 육성사업(총 312억 원), UAM 지역 시범사업지 인프라 구축사업(총 400억 원), 메타버스 기반 산업단지 고도화(총 120억 원), AI·블록체인 기반 차세대 부품 공급망 플랫폼 구축(총 200억 원) 등 5대 미래산업 관련 신규 사업을 비롯한 주요 현안 사업들을 내년도 정부 예산에 반드시 반영시키기로 했다.

이번 보고회에서 논의된 사항 중 미흡한 부분은 3월에 개최 예정인 2차 보고회까지 보완토록 하고 중앙부처 신청이 마감되는 4월 말까지 매월 보고회를 개최해 신규사업 발굴에 박차를 가할 계획이다.

황순조 대구시 기획조정실장은 “경제적·재정적 여건이 좋지 않아 국비 확보에 많은 어려움이 있을 것으로 보이지만, 대구 미래 50년 번영을 위해 실효성 있는 사업들을 발굴하여 우리 대구를 한 단계 더 도약시킬 수 있도록 전 직원들의 지혜와 역량을 모아주기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
