대구시는 지난 4일 군위군의 대구광역시 편입에 따른 실·국별 세부 추진계획 보고회를 개최했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이날 보고회에서는 군위군 편입에 따른 실·국별 소관 업무 세부추진계획을 보고하고, 각종 현안사항 및 향후계획 등을 논의했다.

세부사항으로는 ‘경상북도와 대구광역시 간 관할구역 변경에 관한 법률’이 오는 7월 1일자로 시행됨에 따라 행정공백 및 주민생활에 혼란이 발생하지 않도록 주요 사항들에 대한 후속 조치 계획들이 논의됐다.

특히 자치법규 정비, 대구시민안전보험 군위군민 추가가입, 행정정보통신망 구축·운영, 문화·예술 향유권 제고, 대구-군위군 간 시내버스 노선 추가, 농촌지역 특성을 고려한 스마트서비스 발굴, 신공항 도시 개발전략 및 기본구상(안) 수립, 군위119 출장소 설치 등 군위군민들의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 세부과제들을 안건으로 다뤘다.

앞으로도 대구시는 행정부시장 주재로 수시 보고회를 개최, 실·국별 추진상황을 점검해 추진 미흡 과제 등에 대한 대응 방안을 모색하고, 대구시­경북도­군위군 간 공동협의회를 구성해 실무추진단 인계인수 업무를 지원할 예정이다.

아울러 군민들이 편입으로 인해 불이익이 당하는 일이 없도록 군위군이 경북도로부터 지원받고 있던 여러 사업이 중단없이 추진될 수 있도록 관련기관과 긴밀히 협력해 나갈 예정이다.
