【브레이크뉴스 경북】박은정 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 시정 운영 방향 설정 및 주요 사업 추진방안 마련을 위한 '2023년 주요업무계획 보고회'를 개최했다고 12일 밝혔다.

오는 18일까지 이어지는 이번 보고회는 지난 6일 확정·발표한 민선8기 공약사업을 포함하여 신규사업의 세부 추진방안을 모색하고, 주요현안사업의 향후 계획을 논의하는 등 총 271개의 사업을 집중적으로 살핀다.

특히, 보고방식의 획기적인 변화가 눈에 띈다.

경산시는 그동안 시장, 부시장, 국‧과장 등 간부 공무원들만 참석하여 보고하는 방식을 고수했으나, 올해는 참석대상을 전 직원으로 확대하고 보고자를 6급 이하 젊은 공무원들로 변경했다.

부서 간 업무 공유 및 협업 촉진을 통해 복잡·다양해지는 시민들의 요구에 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있는 조직 역량을 강화하는 데 크게 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 

조현일 시장은 “사회적 거리두기가 해제되었지만, 고금리‧고물가‧저성장 3중고로 시민들이 느끼는 일상으로의 회복은 더욱 요원해진 시기”라며 “무엇보다 시민들이 일상생활에서 더 살기 좋아지고 더 발전하는 경산을 체감할 수 있도록 계획 단계에서부터 시민 행복을 최우선으로 고려할 것”을 강조했다. 

이어“시민들로부터 신뢰받고 인정받는 공직사회, 진정한 시민중심 행복 경산을 실현할 수 있도록 전 직원이 세심하고 면밀히 검토하여 완성도 높은 업무 추진계획을 수립할 것”을 당부했다.
