【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북도는 23일 성주군 한 산란계 농장에서 H5형 조류인플루엔자(AI) 항원이 검출돼 산란계 25만여 마리를 긴급 살처분 했다고 밝혔다.
해당 농장은 지난 10일 AI가 발생한 성주군 오리 농장에서 약 3.9km 떨어진 곳으로, 최근 폐사축이 증가함에 따라 농가 신고로 정밀검사를 실시한 결과 H5형 항원이 확인됐다. 고병원성 여부는 농림축산검역본부의 추가 검사 결과에 따라 최종 판정되며, 1~3일가량 소요될 예정이다.
도는 즉시 초동대응팀을 투입해 해당 농장에서 사육 중인 산란계 25만여 마리를 긴급 살처분하고, 24일 오후 2시부터 24시간 동안 경북 전역과 인접 2개 시·군(경남 합천·거창) 산란계 농장 및 관련 업체를 대상으로 일시이동중지(Standstill) 명령을 발령했다.
또한 발생 농장 반경 10km 내 9개 농가에서 사육 중인 79만여 마리에 대해 예찰과 정밀검사를 실시하고, 방역지역 이동통제초소를 설치해 차량·인력 통제 및 소독을 강화하고 있다.
경북도에 따르면 2025~2026년 동절기 들어 현재까지 전국 고병원성 AI 발생은 가금농장 46건, 야생조류 52건으로 집계됐다. 가금농장 발생 지역은 경북 3건을 비롯해 경기·충북·전남·충남 각 9건, 전북 4건, 경남·세종·광주 각 1건 등이다. 야생조류는 충남 14건, 전남 7건, 전북 6건 등 전국적으로 확산 양상을 보이고 있다.
박찬국 경북도 농축산유통국장은 “도내 발생이 이어지는 상황에서 바이러스가 농장으로 유입되는 연결고리를 차단하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “각 농가에서는 축사 내외 출입자와 차량에 대한 철저한 통제와 소독을 매일 실시해 달라”고 당부했다.

Additionally, surveillance and detailed inspections are being conducted on approximately 790,000 birds raised on nine farms within a 10km radius of the affected farms. Control posts have been established in quarantine areas to strengthen vehicle and personnel control and disinfection.
According to North Gyeongsang Province, as of the winter of 2025-2026, there have been 46 cases of highly pathogenic AI outbreaks nationwide in poultry farms and 52 cases in wild birds. Poultry farm outbreaks include three in North Gyeongsang Province, nine each in Gyeonggi Province, North Chungcheong Province, South Jeolla Province, and South Chungcheong Province, four in North Jeolla Province, and one each in South Gyeongsang Province, Sejong Province, and Gwangju. Wild bird outbreaks are spreading nationwide, with 14 cases in South Chungcheong Province, seven in South Jeolla Province, and six in North Jeolla Province.
Park Chan-guk, director of the Gyeongbuk Province Livestock and Agricultural Products Distribution Bureau, said, “With outbreaks continuing in the province, it is most important to cut off the link that allows the virus to enter farms,” and asked, “Each farm should thoroughly control and disinfect people and vehicles entering and exiting livestock sheds every day.”
