특히 경북도청 등 유관기관과 협조체제를 구축하고 동시다발적으로 발생하는 산불 상황을 지속 모니터링하고 있다.

지난 2일, 군위 소보면 산불 구호 활동을 위한 직원과 봉사원 30여 명을 현장으로 급파해 이동급식차량을 이용 산불 진화 요원에게 1,500인분의 식사를 이틀간 지원했다.

또한 3일 발생한 영주시 평은면 산불로 주민 68명이 대피함에 따라 직원과 봉사원 40여 명을 급파해 4일 현재까지 구호 급식 활동을 전개하고 있다.

김재왕 대한적십자사 경북지사 회장은 “피해를 최소화하고, 산불 진화 요원과 이재민분들이 신속하게 일상으로 복귀하실 수 있게 급식과 구호물품 지원 등 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.
