대한적십자사 경북지사(회장 류시문)는 최근 발생한 고령 산불에 대응하여 재난구호활동을 전개했다고 3일 밝혔다.

경북적십자사는 화재 당일 현장에 긴급재난구호대책본부를 설치한 뒤 29일 새벽 경북도와 고령군과의 상황 공유를 통해 이동급식차량을 대가야유스호스텔에 파견했다. 또한 대가야유스호스텔과 대가야생활촌으로 대피한 대창양료원·요양원 이재민 120명을 대상으로 중식을 지원했다.

이날 오후에는 신촌리 현장 지휘소에 재난구호급식소를 설치, 이재민 110명에는 도시락을 배달하고 진화요원 290명에게는 급식을 지원, 총 400인분의 석식을 지원했다.

또한, 경북재난심리회복지원센터에서는 심리상담활동가 4명을 파견하여 산불 피해 마을 주민 42명을 대상으로 ‘재난 심리 회복 지원 활동’을 전개했다.

한편, 경북적십자사는 재난 발생 시 재난 상황 극복을 위한 구호 활동을 전개하고 있으며, 지난 2월 영덕 산불 발생 당시에도 구호 물품 지원, 이재민 및 진화 인력 대상 급식 활동 등을 전개한 바 있다.
