이번 보고서에는 봄 대형산불로 큰 피해를 입은 도내 5개 시·군 마을의 재건 방향과 공동체 회복 방안, 주민 생활 기반 복구, 소득 창출 방안, 공동체 공간 구성, 지구별 실시설계 반영 등 마을 재창조 추진 내용이 담긴 것으로 알려졌다.

특히, 지구별 복구 구상(안) 조감도, 주민 설명회, 전시회 개최 등 그간의 추진 현황과 향후 일정이 함께 설명됐다. 

위원들은 보고를 청취한 뒤 ▲주민 의견의 실질적 반영 ▲현장 중심의 복구계획 수립 ▲전시·홍보를 통한 도민 의견수렴 확대 필요성을 강조하며, 전시 개최 시 도민들이 산불 피해의 심각성과 복구 계획의 방향성에 공감할 수 있도록 체계적인 추진을 당부했다고 의회는 밝혔다.

최병준 위원장은 “이번 용역보고와 전시계획은 단순한 피해 복구를 넘어 지속 가능한 마을 재창조의 밑그림이 될 것”이라며“도의회 산불특위는 집행부와 긴밀히 협력해 피해 주민들의 목소리가 반영된 실질적이고 항구적인 대책이 마련되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
