【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(재)행복북구문화재단(대표이사 박정숙)이 경북대학교 미술학과와 교류기획전 ‘아트웨이브 : Art for Future’를 개최한다고 8일 밝혔다.

경북대학교 미술학과에서 추진한 ‘2024 KNU 아트웨이브’ 공모 사업의 일환인 교류기획전은 오는 8월 13일부터 9월 13일까지 한달 간 대구 북구 청문당에서 진행된다.

공모를 통해 선정된 총 24명의 학생들이 기획부터 제작, 설치까지 직접 경험해보는 프로젝트성 전시로 총 3부로 나눠 작품 74여 점을 전시한다.

1부 전시는 정글 속 구피(김민서, 박소현, 박정민, 이현주) 팀이 ‘쿨쿨한 전시’를 통해 언젠가 꾸었던 것 같은 꿈의 조각들을 공유함으로써 마치 뜨거운 여름날의 시원한 낮잠과 같은 휴식을 관람자에게 전달한다.

또한 솜씻너(곽명희, 박소진, 유재희, 왕천) 팀이 ‘어디서있나요’를 선보인다. ‘어디에 서 있는지’ 혹은 ‘어디에 존재하는지’로 해석할 수 있는 중의적 표현을 통해 현대인의 소유욕과 해방감을 동시에 조명한다.

2부는 경지(서승경, 정현지) 팀이 ‘ㅁㅁ_당신의 삶을 명명해보세요.’를 선보인다. 본격적인 사회에 뛰어들기 전 단계를 맞이한 20대에게, 가장 큰 관심사인 ‘나’를 키워드로 삼아 자아를 찾는 과정을 탐구하기 위한 여러 질문을 관람객에게 주고자 한다.

우후죽순(강유리, 김도연, 오민정) 팀은 ‘대나무 숲: 뱉어낼 수 있는 용기’를 통해 가슴 속 깊이 감춘 콤플렉스를 드러내어 무겁기만 했던 마음속 무게를 덜어내는 등 전시를 관람한 이들에게 대나무숲과 같은 커뮤니티 공간을 제공하고자 한다.

3부 전시는 경북대학교 미술학과 한국화 동아리인  ‘순’(권현선, 권효진, 김가희, 박준형, 배상빈, 여미현, 여우진, 이채원, 이채현, 장혜미, 한지윤)’이 ‘순(筍) 기능’을 주제로 ‘筍’의 새로 돋아나는 연한 싹의 의미처럼 다양하고 날것의 형태로 나타나는 예비예술인들만이 가질 수 있는 새싹의 신선한 매력을 전하고자 한다. 

박정숙 (재)행복북구문화재단 대표이사는 “젊음의 열정과 예술적 재능이 가득한 이번 전시가 보시는 분들께도 좋은 에너지를 선사해드릴 것을 기대하며, 앞으로도 청년 예술가와 지역민들이 문화예술로 소통할 수 있는 장을 지속적으로 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

The exchange exhibition, which is part of the ‘2024 KNU Art Wave’ contest promoted by the Department of Fine Arts at Kyungpook National University, will be held for one month from August 13 to September 13 at the Cheongmun Hall in Buk-gu, Daegu.

A total of 24 students selected through the contest will directly experience the planning, production, and installation of the project exhibition, which will be divided into three parts and display approximately 74 works.

In the first part of the exhibition, the Jungle Goofy (Kim Min-seo, Park So-hyun, Park Jeong-min, Lee Hyun-joo) team will share fragments of dreams they once had through the ‘Cool Exhibition’, thereby providing viewers with a refreshing nap-like rest on a hot summer day.

Also, the team Somsseuten (Kwak Myeong-hee, Park So-jin, Yoo Jae-hee, Wang Cheon) will present ‘Where Are You Standing?’ It simultaneously illuminates the possessiveness and sense of liberation of modern people through ambiguous expressions that can be interpreted as ‘where are you standing’ or ‘where do you exist?’

In the second part, the team Gyeongji (Seo Seung-kyung, Jeong Hyeon-ji) will present ‘ㅁㅁ_Name Your Life.’ It aims to ask the audience various questions to explore the process of finding the self using ‘me’, the keyword that interests 20-somethings who are in the stage before jumping into full-fledged society.

The team Woohoojuksun (Kang Yu-ri, Kim Do-yeon, Oh Min-jeong) will reveal the complexes hidden deep in their hearts through ‘Bamboo Forest: Courage to Spit Out,’ thereby providing a community space like a bamboo forest to those who visit the exhibition, thereby relieving the heavy burden on their hearts.

The third exhibition is by the Kyungpook National University Department of Fine Arts Korean Painting Club ‘Soon’ (Kwon Hyun-sun, Kwon Hyo-jin, Kim Ga-hee, Park Jun-hyung, Bae Sang-bin, Yeo Mi-hyeon, Yeo Woo-jin, Lee Chae-won, Lee Chae-hyeon, Jang Hye-mi, Han Ji-yoon) with the theme of ‘Soon (筍) Function’. Like the meaning of the newly sprouting tender sprout of ‘筍’, it conveys the fresh charm of sprouts that only aspiring artists can have in various and raw forms.
