【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단이 문화체육관광부와 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 주관하는 ‘2026 생활밀착형 문화예술교육 가가호호’ 운영기관으로 선정돼 국비 5천만 원을 확보했다.
재단은 오는 5월부터 11월까지 7개월 동안 북구 내 생활밀착 거점 5곳에서 가족 참여형 융복합 문화예술교육 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다. 프로그램이 진행되는 곳은 구암동·태전1동 행정복지센터, 그나라어린이도서관, 성보재활원, 농부장터 등이다.
이번 사업은 영유아를 양육하는 부모, 맞벌이 가족, 여성 가족, 1인 가구 등 다양한 가족을 대상으로 무용, 미술, 음악, 인문학, 요리 등이 결합된 프로그램을 제공하는 것이 핵심이다. 재단은 생활권 중심 공간을 활용해 접근성을 높이고, 가족 단위의 문화 향유 기회를 확대할 방침이다.
특히 거점별 특성에 맞춰 재활원에서는 감각·음악 중심 교육을, 농부장터에서는 로컬푸드 연계 체험 등 맞춤형 콘텐츠를 선보일 예정이다. 참여는 사전 신청을 원칙으로 하되, 일부 프로그램은 현장 접수도 병행한다.
박정숙 행복북구문화재단 대표이사는 “이번 선정은 지역 가족 중심 문화예술교육 확대의 중요한 전환점”이라며 “일상 속에서 자연스럽게 참여할 수 있는 프로그램으로 가족 단위의 문화예술 향유 기회를 넓혀가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation has secured 50 million won in state funding after being selected as an operating institution for the ‘2026 Community-Oriented Arts Education GaGaHoHo’ program, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Education Foundation.
The Foundation plans to operate family-participatory convergence arts education programs at five community-oriented hubs within Buk-gu for seven months, from this coming May to November. The locations where the programs will take place include the Guam-dong and Taejeon 1-dong Administrative Welfare Centers, Geunara Children’s Library, Seongbo Rehabilitation Center, and the Farmers’ Market.
The core of this project is to provide programs combining dance, art, music, humanities, and cooking for diverse families, including parents raising infants and toddlers, dual-income families, single-female families, and single-person households. The Foundation intends to enhance accessibility by utilizing spaces within residential areas and expand opportunities for families to enjoy culture.
In particular, tailored to the specific characteristics of each hub, the Foundation plans to showcase customized content, such as sensory and music-focused education at the Rehabilitation Center and local food-linked experiences at the Farmers’ Market. Participation is generally based on advance registration, but on-site registration is also available for some programs.
Park Jung-sook, CEO of the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation, stated, “This selection marks a significant turning point in expanding local family-centered cultural and arts education,” adding, “We will broaden opportunities for families to enjoy culture and arts through programs that allow for natural participation in daily life.”
