【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단이 청년 예술가와 지역 상가를 잇는 문화 프로젝트 ‘2026 청년문화팝업 ART 인 PLACE’에 함께할 상가를 모집한다.

재단에 따르면, 이번 모집은 2월 9일부터 3월 6일 오후 6시까지 진행된다. 북구에 위치한 상가라면 누구나 신청 가능하며, 선정된 상가에는 오는 4월부터 12월까지 상가 특성을 살린 공연과 전시 프로그램 진행 지원이 이뤄진다.

참여 대상은 공연이나 전시 프로그램 운영을 희망하는 북구 내 상가다. 선정 과정은 서류 심사와 현장 실사를 거쳐 최종 결정되며, 프로그램 운영 일정 등 구체적인 내용은 각각의 상가와 협의해 확정한다.

선정된 상가는 소규모 공연, 전시, 체험형 프로그램 등 각 공간에 어울리는 맞춤형 문화예술 프로그램을 제공받게 된다. 또, 재단 측은 프로그램 운영뿐 아니라 온·오프라인 홍보 지원도 함께 진행할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

한편, 지난해 ‘ART 인 PLACE’에는 9곳의 상가가 참여해 1만7천여 명이 넘는 관람객이 방문하는 등 큰 호응을 얻었다. 재단은 올해 사업 규모를 북구 전역으로 확대해 청년문화 확산에 박차를 가할 계획이다.

박정숙 행복북구문화재단 대표이사는 “청년 예술가와 상가, 그리고 관객이 함께하는 ‘ART 인 PLACE’가 올해는 북구 전역으로 확대된다”며 “지역 상권에 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 수 있도록 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 당부했다.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation is recruiting businesses to participate in the "2026 Youth Culture Pop-up ART in PLACE," a cultural project connecting young artists and local businesses.

Meanwhile, last year's "ART in PLACE" event, which featured nine participating businesses, attracted over 17,000 visitors and received a rave review. This year, the foundation plans to expand the project across Buk-gu to further promote youth culture.
