【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=윤석열 대통령이 공천에 개입한 정황이 담겨 있는 육성이 공개되자 대구 지역 야권이 일제히 비판에 나섰다.

31일 더불어민주당 박찬대 원내대표는 긴급기자회견을 통해 윤석열 대통령과 명태균씨의 통화 녹음을 공개했다.

지난 2022년 재보궐 선거를 앞두고 윤 대통령이 명태균씨에게 “공관위에서 나한테 들고 왔길래 ‘내가 김영선이 경선 때도 열심히 뛰었으니까 그거는 김영선이 좀 해줘라’ 그랬다”는 내용이다.

이에 더불어민주당 대구시당은 “명백한 국정농단이며, 국민을 기만하는 행위”라고 질타했다.

이들은 “대통령이 공천에 개입했을 뿐 아니라 민간인, 그것도 여당 인사들의 표현에 따르면 사기꾼에 가까운 인물과 공천 관련 대화를 나누며 기밀을 누설하고 중대사를 논한 것”이라고 주장했다.

그러면서 “박근혜 전 대통령의 혐의를 엄히 다뤘던 윤 대통령은 8년 만에 스스로 그 길을 걷고 있다”고 꼬집었다.

민주당 대구시당은 “대통령은 국민들의 물음에 답해야 한다”며 “한 국가의 지도자로서 최소한의 정치적, 법적 책임을 져야 하는 것은 당연한 의무”라고 강조했다. 

진보당 대구시당 역시 “지금 당장 대통령 직무부터 중단하라”며 날을 세웠다.

이들은 “명백한 공직선거법 위반행위이며, 형사처벌 대상이며, 탄핵 사유”라고 역설했다.

그러면서 “친분을 바탕으로 국가권력을 휘두르는 국정농단”이라며 “작금의 상황이 ‘최순실 박근혜 국정농단 게이트’와 다른 것이 무엇인가”라고 반문했다.

진보당 대구시당은 “대한민국 정치가 또다시 선출되지 않는 권력에 의해 휘둘리는 사태를 좌시할 수 없다”며 “윤석열 대통령을 탄핵하고 대한민국의 민주주의를 바로 세우는데 전력을 다하겠다”고 덧붙여 말했다.
