군은 특별조정교부금 사업으로 총 6건, 18억 원 규모의 예산 지원을 건의하며 주요 현안의 안정적 추진을 위한 도 차원의 재정적 뒷받침을 요청했다.

아울러 광역 연계 사업 추진 방향에 대해서도 의견을 교환했다. 인접 시·군과의 협력 모델과 중장기적 발전 전략을 공유하며, 상생 기반의 지역 발전 방안을 모색했다.

성주군 관계자는 “경북도와 긴밀히 협력해 군민 삶의 질을 높이고 지속 가능한 성장 기반을 마련하겠다”며 “앞으로도 실질적인 지역 발전을 위한 정책을 지속 발굴하고, 다양한 재원 확보와 사업 추진에 행정 역량을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
