협약에 따라 두 기관은 ▲임산부 및 영유아 가정의 양육환경 개선 및 인프라 구축 ▲사례관리 대상자 연계 및 통합 지원 ▲출산·양육지원사업 운영을 위한 정보 공유 ▲의료취약계층 대상 양육서비스 공공성 강화 등 다양한 분야에서 협력하게 된다.

성주군보건소는 이번 협약을 통해 임산부 건강관리 서비스의 접근성을 강화하고, 지역 내 양육지원 체계를 체계적으로 운영해 지역민이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 출산·양육환경 조성에 나선다는 계획이다.

보건소 관계자는 “이번 협약이 임산부와 영유아 가정이 보다 건강하고 안전한 환경에서 출산과 육아를 준비하는 데 도움이 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 저출생 문제 해결과 출산친화 문화 확산을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
