【브레이크뉴스 성주】이성현 기자=성주군(군수 이병환)이 국민권익위원회 주관 ‘2024년 공공기관 종합청렴도 평가’에서 3년 연속 2등급을 달성하며 청렴 우수기관으로 우뚝 섰다.

19일 군에 따르면 이번 공공기관 종합청렴도 평가는 국민권익위원회에서 전국 716개 공공기관을대상으로 청렴체감도와 청렴노력도, 부패실태를 종합하여 평가했다.

특히, 반부패 추진체계 구축 및 시책추진 실적, 기관장의 관심도 등 청렴도향상을 위한 지자체의 노력을 평가하는 ‘청렴노력도’는 최고 등급인 1등급으로도약했으며, 전국 시군 단위에서 유일하게 1등급의 영예를 안았다.

이번 3년 연속 종합청렴도 2등급 달성은 이병환 성주군수의 강력한 청렴의지를 바탕으로 반부패·청렴 정책을 집중적으로 추진하고, 전 직원이 청렴시책에 적극적으로 동참한 결과이다.

그동안 성주군은 △취약분야 집중관리를 위한‘반부패·청렴추진단 운영’, ‘기관장 주재 보고회’개최 △전 방위적 청렴도 향상‘1부서 1청렴 시책’추진△청렴문화 확산을 위한 ‘반부패·청렴주간’,‘청렴라디오’,‘청렴톡투유’ 운영 △‘인사상담 열린창구’,‘직렬별 미니간담회’를 통한 인사분야 소통 활성화 △‘청렴토크콘서트’,‘청렴소통간담회’를 통한 직원 의견 청취 △부패방지 시스템 구축 및 불합리한 제도개선 등 청렴도 향상을 위해 종합적·체계적인 노력을 기울여왔다.

또한, 민원인 대상으로 청렴해피콜을 실시하고 민·관 청렴소통간담회를 개최하는 등 다각적인 방법으로 군민 의견을 청취하고 제도개선을 통한 행정 신뢰도 향상에 힘썼다.

이병환 성주군수는 “청렴노력도 1등급 및 3년 연속 종합청렴도 2등급 달성의 값진 성과는 우리군이 명실상부 청렴도 우수기관으로서의 자리를 확고히 하였음을 나타내는 지표이다”며, “앞으로도 청렴을 대표하는 선도도시의 명성을 유지할 수 있도록 청렴행정 실천에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
