【브레이크뉴스 성주】이성현 기자=성주군지역사회보장협의체(공공위원장 이병환, 민간위원장 김영기)는‘아이 낳기 좋은 성주 만들기 프로젝트 1’의 일환으로 올해 관내 거주자 중 기준중위소득 이하 가정에 해산비를 지원한다고 3일 밝혔다.

기존 기초수급자나 긴급지원대상자가 출산을 할 경우에는 해산급여가 지급되고 있지만 그외 차상위계층은 지원에서 제외되 출산비용에 대한부담이 높다는 주민 의견들을 바탕으로 성주군에서는 전국 228개지역사회보장협의체 중 유일하게 출산가정에 해산비를 지급하는 사업을 추진하기로 했다.

이 사업은 관내 거주자 중 소득기준이 기준중위소득 이하 가정에 25년 출생아에 한하며, 출생아 1인당 70만원이 지원되며 출생일 기준 6개월 이내에 읍면 행정복지센터에서 신청가능하다. 다만, 현행 해산비 지원대상자는 제외된다.

신청서류 등 기타 자세한 문의사항은 성주군청 주민복지과 희망복지팀 또는 성주군지역사회보장협의체로 문의하면 된다.

김영기민간위원장은 “복지인프라가 풍부한 대도시에 비해 산부인과도 하나 없는 농촌지역에서 출산에 대한 불편함이 부담이 되지 않도록 군과 민간에서 같이 노력해 사회적인 분위기를 조성하는 것이 맞다.”며 성주군지역사회보장협의체가 앞장서 군민들이 체감할 수 있는 복지서비스를 만들겠다고 말했다.

이병환 공공위원장 역시 “저출생과의 전쟁에서 살아남기 위해서는 아이 낳기 좋은 환경 조성이 중요하다.”며 정책을 만드는 부서에서는 주민들의 목소리에 귀기울여 체감할 수 있는 복지서비스를 제공하고 지역사회보장협의체 위원들의 참신한 아이디어를 최대한 정책에 반영하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

Applications can be made at the township administrative welfare center within 6 months of the date of birth. However, current childbirth expense support recipients are excluded.

Chairman Kim Young-gi of the Civilian Committee said, “Compared to large cities with abundant welfare infrastructure, it is right for the military and the private sector to work together to create a social atmosphere so that the inconvenience of childbirth is not a burden in rural areas without even one obstetrics and gynecology clinic.” He added that the Seongju County Community Security Council will take the lead in creating welfare services that residents can feel.

Chairman Lee Byeong-hwan of the Public Service Committee also said, “In order to survive the war against low birth rates, it is important to create a good environment for having children.” He expressed his intention that the department that creates policies will listen to the voices of residents, provide welfare services that residents can feel, and reflect the novel ideas of the Community Security Council members in policies as much as possible.
