제314회 임시회 기간 중인 지난 18일 대구시의회 문복위는 대구 육아종합지원센터를 찾아 시설 및 현안 사업을 점검에 나섰다.
문화복지위원들은 센터 운영 현황 및 향후 계획 등을 보고 받고, 대구시의 지속적인 관심과 지원이 필요하다는 데 의견을 모았다.
수렴한 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 육아 지원 정책 강화와 센터 운영개선을 위한 실질적인 지원 방안을 모색할 계획이다.
박창석 위원장은 “우리 지역 내 육아 지원시설 간 유기적 연계를 통해 보육 서비스의 질적 향상을 도모하고 든든한 육아 지원시스템을 구축해 걱정 없이 아이를 낳고 키울 수 있는 행복도시 대구를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다“고 말했다.
