【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도개발공사(사장 이재혁, 이하 공사)가 7월 14일부터 오는 8월 8일까지 약 4주간 ‘2025년 GBDC 사회공헌사업 공모전’을 개최한다.

이번 공모전은 지역사회와 다양한 이해관계자의 요구를 반영한 맞춤형 사회공헌활동을 발굴해 실효성과 수혜 만족도를 높이기 위한 목적으로 마련됐다.

공모 분야는 △사회복지(취약계층 삶의 질 향상 등), △미래세대 육성(아동·청소년 교육 및 정서 지원), △사회적 책임(저출생, 청년 유입, 고령화 대응 등), △일자리 창출(고용 취약계층 지원), △환경 보호(기후변화 대응 및 생태 보전), △디지털 활용 사회공헌, △기타 복지 사각지대 해소 등 총 7개 분야로, 사회복지기관, 지자체, 비영리단체 등을 대상으로 한다.

최종 선정된 사업에는 총 1,500만 원 규모의 지원금이 배정되며, 최대 3개 사업이 선정될 예정이다. 신청된 사업은 예비심사와 대면심사를 거쳐 9월 중 최종 발표된다.

이재혁 사장은 “이번 공모전은 공사의 사회적 책임 이행을 확대하고, 창의적인 공익 아이디어를 적극 발굴하는 기회가 될 것”이라며, “지역사회의 다양한 관심과 참여를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 공사는 지난해에도 같은 공모전을 통해 ‘아동 기후위기 인식 향상 프로젝트’, ‘중장년 1인 가구를 위한 빛나는 라이프’, ‘예천 구도심 어르신 디지털 문맹 탈출 프로그램’ 등 총 3개 사업을 선정·지원했으며, 현재 해당 사업들이 성공적으로 추진 중이다.

공사는 앞으로도 민·관 협력을 바탕으로 지역 맞춤형 사회공헌사업을 지속 발굴·확대해 나갈 방침이다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation to Hold ‘2025 GBDC Social Contribution Project Contest’

Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation (CEO Lee Jae-hyeok, hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) will hold the ‘2025 GBDC Social Contribution Project Contest’ for approximately 4 weeks from July 14 to August 8.

This contest was prepared for the purpose of discovering customized social contribution activities that reflect the needs of local communities and various stakeholders and increasing effectiveness and satisfaction of beneficiaries.

The contest fields are △social welfare (improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups, etc.), △fostering future generations (education and emotional support for children and youth), △social responsibility (low birth rate, youth influx, response to aging population, etc.), △job creation (support for vulnerable groups in employment), △environmental protection (response to climate change and ecological conservation), △social contribution using digital technology, and △eliminating blind spots in other welfare, and the target groups are social welfare organizations, local governments, and non-profit organizations.

A total of 15 million won in support funds will be allocated to the final selected projects, and up to three projects will be selected. The projects that have applied will undergo preliminary and face-to-face screening and the final announcement will be made in September.

President Lee Jae-hyeok said, “This contest will be an opportunity to expand the corporation’s social responsibility and actively discover creative public interest ideas,” and added, “We look forward to diverse interest and participation from the local community.”

Meanwhile, last year, the corporation selected and supported a total of three projects through the same contest, including the ‘Children’s Climate Crisis Awareness Raising Project,’ ‘Shining Life for Middle-aged and Elderly Single-Person Households,’ and ‘Yecheon Old Downtown Senior Citizens’ Digital Illiteracy Escape Program,’ and these projects are currently being successfully implemented.

The corporation plans to continue to discover and expand customized social contribution projects for local regions based on public-private cooperation.
