이날 총회에는 상공의원 50명이 참석했으며, 의원 변동사항, 주요 예정사업, 고향사랑기부제 교차기부 현황 등을 보고하고 임원 보선 안건과 결의문 채택 안건을 심의·의결했다.

채택된 결의문에는 ▲기업 혁신과 자생력 강화 ▲K-스틸법 등 지원 입법 조속 추진 ▲금융·세제 지원 확대 및 산업용 전기요금 한시적 인하 ▲상생협력과 지역혁신 생태계 조성 ▲미래 성장산업 육성 등 지역경제 회복과 산업 경쟁력 강화의 핵심 과제가 담겼다.

 포항상의 상공의원들은 결의문을 통해 “현 경제위기를 직시하고 모든 역량을 결집해 지역경제 회복과 도약에 나설 것”이라며 정부와 국회, 지자체 및 지역경제 주체들의 적극적 협력을 촉구했다.

나주영 회장은 “글로벌 경기 침체와 각종 규제로 기업들이 어려움에 직면해 있지만, K-스틸법 여야 공동 발의와 산업위기 선제대응지역 지정은 지역경제 회복의 가능성을 보여주고 있다”며 “이번 총회를 계기로 의원들이 뜻을 모아 위기를 기회로 바꾸어 나가길 바라며, 상공회의소도 기업지원 활동을 더욱 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

이번 총회는 지역 경제의 현안을 점검하고 기업 지원과 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 구체적 실천 방안을 마련하는 자리로 평가된다.

They urged active cooperation from the government, National Assembly, local governments, and regional economic players.

Chairman Na Ju-young stated, "While businesses are facing difficulties due to the global economic downturn and various regulations, the joint proposal of the K-Steel Act by the ruling and opposition parties and the designation of a preemptive industrial crisis response zone demonstrate the potential for regional economic recovery. I hope this general meeting will serve as an opportunity for the members to unite and turn this crisis into an opportunity. The Chamber will also further strengthen its corporate support activities."
