【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항상공회의소(회장 문충도) 경북지식재산센터는 2023년 IP기반 해외진출지원사업의 경북 글로벌 IP 스타기업 14개사를 선정했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 2023년도 경북 글로벌 IP 스타기업은 ㈜건화이엔지(경산), ㈜모이모션(포항), ㈜미트코리아(영천), ㈜뷰전부설연구소(구미),성부산업(칠곡), ㈜세원하이텍(칠곡), ㈜에그유니(경산), ㈜ 에스이에이(구미), ㈜에이티엠코리아(김천), ㈜원소프트다임(포항),㈜위드메디컬(구미), ㈜와룡식품(경산), 인핸드플러스 ㈜(포항),㈜진광화학(경산) 등 총 14개의 기업이다.

2023년부터 기존의 ‘글로벌 IP 스타기업 육성사업’이 사업 명칭이 변경된이번 IP기반 해외진출지원 사업은 수출실적이 있거나 2023년 수출 예정인해외 진출 중소기업에 대하여 3년간 지식재산권(특허·브랜드·디자인) 관련 종합지원을 통해 글로벌 IP 강소기업으로 육성하는 사업이다.

경북지식재산센터는 특허청과 경상북도의 지원으로 총 44개의 글로벌 IP 스타기업을 육성하고 있다. 선정된 글로벌 IP 스타기업들은 전담 컨설턴트를 통한 맞춤형 컨설팅을 지원하고 있다.

이를 통해 연간 7천만원 이내에서 해외진출시 필수적인 해외출원·OA·등록 비용지원, 비영어권 브랜드개발 이외에 특허맵, 특허기술 홍보영상제작, 디자인개발(제품·포장·화상), 디자인맵, 브랜드개발(신규․리뉴얼),특허&디자인 컨버전스, 기업 IP경영 진단·구축 등 다양한 사업을 지원받게 된다. 연차평가를 통해 3년간 최대 2억 1천만원까지 지원받을 수 있다.

경북지식재산센터 배상철 센터장은“지역특화산업과 그린산업 등의 글로벌ESG 경영이 요구되는 경영환경을 반영한 이번 신규 글로벌 IP 스타기업 선정은 향후 해외 수출 확대와 지역 일자리 창출, 지식재산경영 역량을 극대화시키는 IP 강소기업으로 성장시켜, 지역의 중견기업이 될 때까지 최선의 노력을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

 Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center selects 14 Gyeongbuk global IP star companies

   The Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center of the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Moon Chung-do) announced on the 3rd that it had selected 14 Gyeongbuk global IP star companies for the 2023 IP-based overseas expansion support project.

The 2023 Gyeongbuk global IP star companies are Kunhwa Eng Co., Ltd. (Gyeongsan), Moi Motion Co., Ltd. (Pohang), Meat Korea Co., Ltd. (Yeongcheon), Viewjeon Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Gumi), Seongbu Industry Co., Ltd. (Chilgok), Sewon Hitech Co., Ltd. (Chilgok) ( Pohang) and Jinkwang Chemical Co., Ltd. (Gyeongsan).

This IP-based overseas expansion support project, whose business name was changed from the existing 'Global IP Star Company Fostering Project' from 2023, provides intellectual property rights (patent, brand, design) for 3 years for small and medium-sized enterprises that have exported or are expected to export in 2023. It is a project to develop into a global IP small but strong company through related comprehensive support.

The Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center is fostering a total of 44 global IP star companies with the support of the Korean Intellectual Property Office and Gyeongsangbuk-do. Selected global IP star companies support customized consulting through dedicated consultants.

Through this, in addition to supporting overseas application, OA, and registration expenses, which are essential for overseas expansion within KRW 70 million per year, and non-English brand development, patent map, patent technology promotional video production, design development (product, packaging, image), design map, brand development (new Renewal), patent & design convergence, corporate IP management diagnosis and establishment, etc. will be supported. Through annual evaluation, up to 210 million won can be supported for 3 years.

Bae Sang-cheol, head of the Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center, said, “The selection of a new global IP star company that reflects the business environment that requires global ESG management, such as regionally specialized industries and green industries, will expand overseas exports, create local jobs, and maximize intellectual property management capabilities in the future. We will do our best to grow into a strong IP company and become a mid-sized company in the region.”
