【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(대표이사 박정숙) 어울아트센터가 오는 11일부터 30일까지 ‘2025 유망예술가발굴프로젝트’를 개최한다.

올해로 8년째를 맞는 이 프로그램은 지역의 젊고 재능 있는 예술가들을 발굴해 창작 활동을 지원하고, 기초예술 분야 관객 저변을 넓혀왔다. 지난 6월에는 ‘2025 KoCACA 아트페스티벌’에서 문예회관 우수사례로 선정돼 우수상을 수상하기도 했다.

이번 무대에는 연극, 무용, 전통, 음악 등 네 개 분야에서 주목받는 예술가 4팀이 참여한다.

첫 공연은 11일 극단 열혈단 정창윤 대표가 연출하는 연극 ‘햄릿’ 고전을 유쾌한 놀이극 형식으로 재해석해 관객과 소통하는 무대를 선보인다.

이어 17일에는 무용 공연 ‘빛이 스미는 틈’이 무대에 오른다. 박경희 안무가는 발레·한국무용·현대무용을 넘나드는 ‘도깨비 잔치’를, 김현아 안무가는 ‘회색’을 주제로 한 ‘Gray_색과결’을 선보이며 서로 다른 색깔의 두 작품을 한 무대에서 풀어낸다.

24일에는 전통 공연 ‘단희謠Ⅱ-서도소리를 입고 걷는다’가 관객을 찾는다. 국가무형유산 서도소리 전수자인 김단희가 전통 민요와 현대적 감각을 결합한 무대를 꾸민다.

마지막은 뮤지컬 콘서트 ‘Show Must Begin’로 30일과 31일 DIMF 여우주연상 후보로 주목받은 백수민의 연출 아래, 스토리텔링 콘서트와 퍼포먼스 갈라쇼를 결합해 희망과 자아 표현의 메시지를 전한다.

박정숙 대표이사는 “유망예술가발굴프로젝트는 지역 예술가들에게 창작의 발판이자 관객과 만나는 소중한 장”이라며 “앞으로도 기초예술의 저변 확대와 예술가들의 꿈과 열정을 응원하는 든든한 동반자가 되겠다”고 말했다.

The Haengbokbuk-gu Cultural Foundation (CEO Park Jeong-sook) and the Eoul Arts Center will host the "2025 Promising Artist Discovery Project" from the 11th to the 30th.

The first performance will be on the 11th, directed by Jeong Chang-yoon, the director of the Yeolhyeoldan Theater Company, who will present a playful reinterpretation of the classic play "Hamlet" in a playful, engaging format.

Following this, the dance performance "A Gap Through which Light Seeps" will be performed on the 17th. Choreographer Park Kyung-hee presents "Dokkaebi Banquet," which crosses ballet, Korean traditional dance, and modern dance, while choreographer Kim Hyun-ah presents "Gray_색과결," which focuses on the theme of "gray," bringing two distinct works to life on the same stage.

On the 24th, the traditional performance "Danhee II - Walking Wearing Seodo Sori" will meet audiences. Kim Dan-hee, a practitioner of the National Intangible Heritage Seodo Sori, will create a performance that combines traditional folk songs with a modern sensibility.

The final performance will be the musical concert "Show Must Begin," which will be held on the 30th and 31st. Directed by Baek Soo-min, a DIMF Best Actress nominee, the concert combines a storytelling concert with a performance gala show to deliver a message of hope and self-expression.
