6일 오후 국회 본청 원내대표 회의실에서 열린 ‘국가균형발전과 한국형뉴딜 정책 추진 방향’ 간담회에서 대구시당 김대진 위원장 등 일행은  대구 발전을 위한 정책개발 및 추진의 필요성을 강조하며 이같이 제안했다.

특히 이날 간담회에서는 지난 7월 7 일 문재인 정부의 한국판 뉴딜 종합계획 발표이후 한국판 뉴딜의 가시적 성과 및 국민 체감을 위한 창의적 뉴딜 발굴·확산 필요성이 제기되면서 회의에서는 한국형 뉴딜 추진방향 및 K-뉴딜지역지원단 운영방향 등을 집중 논의한 것으로 알려졌다.

김대진 대구시당위원장은“대구시당차원에서 역량을 모아 대구경북 발전을 위한 플랜을 K-뉴딜위원회 정례회의에 반영하여 지역균형 뉴딜 수요를 계속 발굴함과 동시에 시·도당위원장 협의회를 적극 활용하는 등 대구발전을 위한 정책개발에 매진하겠다”고 말했다.
