‘스테이 스트롱(Stay Strong)’ 캠페인은 장기화되는 코로나19 상황에서 전세계에 응원의 메시지를 전달하기 위해 외교부에서 시작한 응원 릴레이로, ‘지치지 않고 함께 힘을 내는 것이 중요하기에 스테이 스트롱(Stay Strong) 캠페인에 함께 합니다!’는 응원문구로최초 시작되었다. 비누거품을 묻히고 기도하는 두 손과 견뎌내자(Stay Strong)는 문구가 적힌 팻말을 함께 든 사진을 SNS 등에 게시하고 차기 릴레이 참여자를 추천하는 방식으로 진행하고 있다.
최삼룡 대구경북경제자유구역청장은 “코로나 시대를 지혜롭고 용기있게 함께 극복해 나아가자.”며 “대구경북경제자유구역(DGFEZ)에서많은 기업들이 새로운 성공신화를 일궈 나갈수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다. 최 청장은 차기 릴레이 주자로 대구도시공사 이종덕사장과 대구엑스코 서장은 사장을 지목했다.
한편 최삼룡 청장은 지난 2일 부패를 반대하고 청렴을 약속하는 국민권익위원회에서 진행하는 공익 캠페인인 ‘WE대한약속 챌린지’에도 참여하며, 청렴한 경제자유구역 개발 의지를 공고히 하기도 하였다.
