경북테크노파크에 따르면 산업기술단지 거점기능강화사업은 ‘산업기술단지 지원에 관한 특례법’에 따라 지역혁신거점기관인 지역 테크노파크가 수행중인 사업을 말한다.

경북테크노파크는 DB기반의 통계 시스템에 기초하여 정책기획, 수요맞춤형 기업지원, 산학연관 협력 네트워크 강화를 통해 지역 거점기능을 수행함으로써 우수한 성과를 창출했다.

2020년 경북테크노파크는 전세계적인 코로나 펜데믹의 영향에도 불구하고 지역산업 및 기업지원을 위해 전심전력의 노력을 기울인 한 해였다. 지역주력산업 성과평가에서 경상북도가 S등급(최우수) 달성을 통해 국비 인센티브 15억원을 확보하는데 기여했으며, 한국판 뉴딜(지역뉴딜, 그린뉴딜), 규제특구 등을 반영하여 지역주력산업을 개편한 2021년 경북지역산업 진흥계획을 수립했다.

또한 신규사업 및 정책과제 기획을 통해 223억 7천만원의 사업비를 확보했다.

타지역과 달리 경북테크노파크는 지역기업의 스마트 기업등록을 통한 빅데이터를 기반으로 성장사다리 기업지원체계를 구축하여 482개사의 지역 우수기업을 육성했으며, 경북지역 기술혁신형기업 총 81개사를 대상으로 614억원의 기술금융(투·융자)을 지원했다.

또한 경북지역 펀드운용 기관과의 네트워크 활용을 통해 25개사 98.5억원의 투자연계를 통해 지역기업이 성장할 수 있는 환경을 조성했다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “지역거점기관으로서 지역균형발전과 기업지원을 위해 다양한 정책 및 사업기획, 산업육성 전략을 수립하고 나아가 올해는 한국판 뉴딜 종합계획에 맞춰 경상북도와 함께 경북형 뉴딜 촉진 선도기관으로서 지역기업과 산업 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
