【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=(재)경북테크노파크(원장 하인성)가 6일 소상공인시장진흥공단 대구경북지역본부와 협약을 체결하고, 경북지역 소상공인의 자립 기반 강화와 성장 생태계 조성을 위한 전략적 협력에 나섰다.

이번 협약은 경북테크노파크가 지난 4월 중소벤처기업부의 지역주도 소공인 육성 프로젝트에서 전국 최초로 ‘경상북도 소공인 광역전담기관’으로 지정된 이후 후속 조치로 마련됐다.

경북테크노파크는 도내 22개 시·군을 아우르는 산업 네트워크와 기술 인프라를 바탕으로, 창업과 성장, 디지털 전환, 사업화에 이르기까지 소상공인 전 주기 지원체계를 고도화해 왔다. 중앙정부와 경상북도 간 정책 연계를 통해 현장 중심의 실질적인 지원 모델도 추진하고 있다.

특히 이번 협약을 통해 전국 단위 조직망과 운영 경험을 보유한 소상공인시장진흥공단과의 협력체계를 구축, 지역 소공인 정책의 현장 실행력을 한층 높이게 됐다. 양 기관은 향후 유기적인 협업을 통해 경북형 통합지원 플랫폼을 구축하고, 지역 실정에 맞춘 실효성 있는 지원책을 마련할 방침이다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “소상공인은 경북 지역경제의 최전선에서 활동하는 핵심 주체”라며 “기술과 현장을 연결하는 허브 플랫폼으로서 소상공인의 지속가능한 미래를 설계해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

양 기관은 앞으로도 다양한 분야의 협력 과제를 구체화해 민·관 협력을 기반으로 한 지속 가능한 지역 소상공인 생태계 조성에 박차를 가할 예정이다.

Leveraging its industrial network and technological infrastructure spanning 22 cities and counties in the province, Gyeongbuk Technopark has been enhancing its support system for small businesses throughout their entire lifecycle, from startup and growth to digital transformation and commercialization. Through policy coordination between the central government and Gyeongsangbuk-do, it is also pursuing a practical, field-oriented support model.

In particular, this agreement will establish a cooperative system with the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SMBC), which possesses a nationwide network and operational experience, thereby further enhancing the on-site implementation of local SME policies. The two organizations plan to collaborate organically to establish a Gyeongbuk-style integrated support platform and devise effective support measures tailored to local circumstances.

Gyeongbuk Technopark Director Ha In-seong stated, "Small and medium-sized businesses are key players at the forefront of the Gyeongbuk regional economy. As a hub platform connecting technology and the field, we will design a sustainable future for small and medium-sized businesses."

The two organizations plan to continue to flesh out collaborative projects in various fields and accelerate the creation of a sustainable local SME ecosystem based on public-private partnerships.
