국민권익위원회의 부동산 전수조사 결과에서 부동산 투기 의혹으로 발표된 국민의힘 국회의원들 가운데 상당수가 윤석열 전 검찰총장 선거캠프인 ‘국민캠프’에 소속되어 있는 것으로 나타났다.

특히 한무경, 정찬민, 이철규 의원은 당으로부터 제명 및 탈당 권유를 받았다. 세 사람 모두 국민캠프에서 활동하고 있다.

이들 중 한무경, 정찬민 의원은 캠프 관련 직책에서 스스로 물러나겠다는 의사를 밝혀왔다“고 국민캠프측은 설명하고 ”이를 수용했다“고 밝혔다.

다만 “이철규 의원은 관련 의혹에 대하여 당에 추가 해명 기회를 요청했기에 소명 절차를 지켜본 뒤 판단하기로 했다”고 덧붙였다.
