한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 원흥대)는 2022년도 동경주 지역주민 건강검진 사업을 시행한다고 16일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 동경주 주민 복지 증진을 위해 월성원자력본부와 한국원자력환경공단이 공동으로 경북사회복지공동모금회와 경주시지역사회보장협의체에 사업을 위임하여 진행하며, 해당 기관들은 지난 15일 월성본부 홍보관 귀빈실에서 협약을 체결했다.
올해 건강검진사업은 전년도 미수검자 및 만 45세 이상 2,600명을 대상으로 시행한다. 신청방법은 각 62개 마을별 이장에게 배부된 신청서에 희망 병원(울산대병원, 울산시티병원, 동국대병원, 경주큰마디큰병원 중 선택) 및 성명 등을 작성한 후 해당 읍면사무소에 제출하면 된다.
1차 신청은 6월 말까지고, 2차 신청은 8월부터 10월까지 진행될 예정이며, 최종 검진기간은 12월 16일까지다.
특히 올해는 검진 이후 질병으로 인해 의료지원이 필요한 경우 복지사각지대인 주민에 한해 입원 중 치료비, 약값 등의 의료서비스 지원이 추가됐다.
원흥대 본부장은 “건감검진 사업은 2012년 시행한 이후로 주민분들의 관심과 만족도가 매우 높다.”면서 “코로나19가 장기화 되고 있는 상황에서 이번 사업이 지역주민분들의 건강과 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.
