【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=월성원자력본부(본부장 김한성, 이하 월성본부)는 지난 25일 지역과 소통을 위한‘2023년도 제2차 월성원전본부 소통위원회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

26일 월성본부에 따르면 지역과의 상생소통체계를 구축하기 위해 조직된 원전소통위원회는 김한성 본부장을 비롯한 내부위원 3명과 경주시의회 의원 등 지역위원 11명, 총 14명으로 구성되어 있다.

이날 회의는 임기가 만료되는 동국대의대교수 유석주 위원에게 감사패를 전달하고, ‘2023년 1분기 월성본부 지역사회 상생협력 주요활동’에 대해 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.

특히 동경주 지역주민 종합건강검진사업과 PET-CT 검사를 연계시키는 방안에 대해 토의해 보고, 특히 최근 현안이 되고있는 양남지역 현수막 게시 관련 이슈에 대해 의견을 교류하며 앞으로 월성본부와 지역이 진심으로 소통할 수 있는 방안을 함께 고민했다.

또한 이날은 월성본부 온배수양식장에서 직접 키운 참돔과 전복을 시식하면서 온배수의 유용성과 청정성, 안전성에 대해 확인하는 시간을 가졌다.

김한성 본부장은“부임이래 지금까지 여러 지역인사들과 소통해왔으며, 특히 이번주까지 순차적으로 감포읍 발전협의회, 문무대왕면 발전협의회 집행부와 소통간담회를 마쳤으며 다음 차례인 양남면 발전협의회와의 간담회를 추진하고 있다.”면서, “지역과의 상생에 보탬이 된다면, 어떠한 어려움도 마다하지 않고 다양한 의견을 주고받는 등 진심담은 지역소통 활동을 이어 나가겠다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

한편 월성원전본부 소통위원회는 2013년 첫 시작이래, 연 6회 이상 정기회의를 개최하고 있으며, 월성본부 주요현황에 대해 공유하고 지역위원들과 다양한 의견 교류로 공감을 나누는 등 지역과 상생발전을 도모하고 있다.
