【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 김한성)는 28일 초록우산 어린이재단에 경주시 지역아동센터 지원을 위한 후원금 1,800만원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 후원금은 총 28개 840명의 아동이 등록되어 있는 경주 지역아동센터 아동들의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위한 선물 구입에 사용될 예정이다.

이날 전달식에는 월성원자력본부 김한성 본부장 및 초록우산 어린이재단 문희영 경북지역본부장이 참석했으며, 후원금 전달 후에는 지역 아동 대상 지원 방안에 대한 의견을 교환했다.

문희영 초록우산 어린이재단 경북지역본부장은 “연말에 소외감을 느낄 수 있는 어려운 아동들을 위해 월성본부에서 세심하게 마음을 써주셔서 너무 감사하다. 우리 아이들이 따뜻한 연말을 보낼 수 있을 것 같다.”며 감사의 인사를 전했다.

김한성 본부장은 “이번 지원이 아이들에게 작은 행복과 기쁨이 되길 바란다.”면서 “월성본부는 앞으로도 미래의 주역인 어린이들을 위해 다양한 지원활동을 펼치겠다.”고 말했다.
