【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 김한성)는 지난 12월 30일 발전소 주변 지역 9개 초중고 학생들에게 장학금을 전달했다고 3일 밝혔다.
월성본부 주변 지역에 소재한 9개 학교의 저소득층 및 특기적성 기준 77명, 성적우수자 기준 47명의 장학생을 선발해 인당 30만원씩 총 3,720만원의 장학금을 지급했다.
김한성 본부장은 “월성본부는 주변 지역 학생들의 학습 동기 부여 및 지역 인재 양성을 위해 지속적으로 장학금 지원사업을 시행하고 있다.”면서 “지역의 학생들이 훌륭한 인재로 성장해 지역과 국가 발전에 밑거름이 되기를 바란다.”고 말했다.
