【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=경상북도 새마을재단(대표이사 이승종)은 지난 5월 1차 연수사업에 이어 10월 21일 인도네시아 족자카르타주 메리어트 호텔에서 ‘2022년 제2차 기업지원형 새마을사업(공장새마을운동 연수)’을 실시했다고 24일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 도내 해외 진출기업을 대상으로 공장새마을운동을 보급함으로써 현지 종업원들에게 동기부여와 애사심 고취를 통한 기업 생산성 향상을 목표로 올해 처음 인도네시아와 베트남 진출기업을 대상으로 사업을 추진 중이다.

이번 연수는 ‘새마을운동 및 공장새마을운동의 이해’와 ‘중간관리자의 리더십과 생산성 향상’을 주제로 국별 각 50명씩을 대상으로 현지 새마을운동 전문가가 진행한다.

이들 전문가는 인도네시아 가자마자 대학교 아시아태평양 연구소와 베트남 호치민대학교 농촌개발-새마을연구센터 출신의 새마을운동 전문가들로 구성되어 있어 현지 맞춤형 새마을운동 교육이 기대된다.

기업 관계자는 “현지에 공장새마을운동이 성공적으로 보급된다면 앞으로 기업의 생산성 향상은 물론 종업원들의 의식변화를 통한 기업문화 개선에서 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.”며 높은 기대감을 나타냈다.

이승종 새마을재단 대표이사는 “올해 처음 실시하는 기업지원형 새마을사업의 성과를 면밀히 분석하여 내년에는 기업들에게 실질적으로 필요한 커리큘럼과 지원책을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
