【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=새마을재단은 타지키스탄 공무원 20명이 지난 23일 입교식을 시작으로 12월 1일까지 새마을연수를 실시한다고 24일 밝혔다.

행정안전부의 지원을 받아 진행되는 타지키스탄 새마을운동 초청연수는 지난해 코로나19로 온라인 연수를 진행했으나 올해는 새마을운동을 통해 발전한 한국의 모습을 보기를 원하는 연수생들의 의견을 반영해 한국으로 초청해 진행했다.

이번 연수는 타지키스탄 농촌개발정책과 새마을운동을 연계·발전시킬 수 있는 역량을 개발하기 위해 기획됐다.

새마을운동과 농촌개발, 협동조합과 마을금고, 새마을운동 추진체계화 전략, 새마을운동과 정부/공무원/지도자의 역할, 새마을운동과 농업환경개선 등 새마을 이론과 성공사례를 병행해 진행될 예정이다.

조성희 상임이사는 입교식 축사를 통해 “새마을운동은 할 수 있다는 적극적인 정신을 심은 국민정신개조 운동으로 대한민국의 발전 원동력이 되었다. 이번 연수를 통해 배운 내용을 타지키스탄에 잘 접목하여 국가와 사회 발전의 계기가 되기를기원 드린다.”고 말했다.
