【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱, 이하 건협)는 치매요양센터 붓다의집을 방문해 ‘사랑의 김장담그기’ 봉사활동을 실시했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이날 봉사활동은 건협 임직원, 건협 사랑어머니봉사단 13명과 시민봉사단들이 참여하여 추운겨울을 대비해 1,000포기의 김장 김치를 정성껏 담궜다.
담근김치는 치매요양센터를 비롯하여 인근 지역 저소득층 가정으로 전달될 예정이다.
건협 대구지부 관계자는 “소외되고 어려운 이웃을 지원하고 함꼐 나눌 수 있어 뜻깊고 행복한 시간이었다.”며 “앞으로도 건협 대구지부는 지역사회공헌인정기관으로써 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들어가기 위하여 다양한 사랑 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 확대해나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
