【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱)가 겨울철 난방비 부담으로 어려움을 겪는 에너지 취약계층을 위해 난방 후원금을 전달했다. 

건협 대구는 지난 9일 제일기독종합사회복지관을 방문해 후원금을 건넸다.

건협 대구는 올해 ‘미리메리크리스마스 시즌9’ 사업을 통해 난방유 지원과 더불어 거주시설 안전 점검도 함께 진행하며, 취약 세대의 겨울철 질병과 안전사고를 미연에 방지하기 위해 힘쓰고 있다. 

해당 사업은 9년째 이어지고 있는 지역 내 대표적인 민관 협력 겨울나기 지원 프로그램이다.

김태욱 본부장은 “지역 기관들이 힘을 모아 후원에 나선 만큼, 취약계층의 난방 걱정을 조금이나마 덜어줄 수 있길 바란다”며 “공익적 의료기관으로서 앞으로도 사회문제 예방과 해결에 적극 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Metropolitan City Branch of the Korea Health Management Association (Director Kim Tae-wook) provided heating funds to energy-vulnerable households struggling with winter heating costs.

The Daegu branch of the Korea Health Management Association visited the Jeil Christian Community Welfare Center on the 9th to deliver the donation.

Through this year's "Merry Christmas Season 9" project, the Daegu branch of the Korea Health Management Association is providing heating oil and conducting safety inspections of residential facilities. This effort is aimed at preventing winter illnesses and safety accidents among vulnerable households.

This project, now in its ninth year, is a representative public-private partnership winter support program in the region.

Director Kim Tae-wook stated, "We hope that the combined efforts of local organizations will help alleviate some of the heating concerns of vulnerable households." He added, "As a public-service medical institution, we will continue to proactively take the lead in preventing and resolving social issues."
