현재 결식아동은 아동급식카드로 식비 보조를 받지만, 방학 중 학교 급식 부재로 식사 돌봄 공백 문제가 지속됐다. 이에 건협과 영등포구, 나눔비타민은 '뿌기·또기의 건강밥상' 사업에 공동 협력하며 결식아동 대상 디지털 기술을 활용한 식사 지원에 힘쓴다.

이 사업은 아동급식카드 사용 앱인 나비얌을 통해 영등포구 결식아동 약 800여 명에게 방학 기간인 8월과 12월 중 정기 식사쿠폰을 제공한다. 이를 통해 편의점에 편중된 식사를 다양화하고 모바일로 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 돕는다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 세 기관은 지역사회 결식아동의 건강 증진 및 온라인 플랫폼 기반 식사 지원체계 구축을 위해 협력한다. 건협은 무료 식사쿠폰 등 사업 운영에 필요한 재원 1억 5천만 원을 후원하고, 영등포구는 대상자 선정 및 안내 등 행정적 지원을 돕는다. 나눔비타민은 나비얌 앱을 통한 식사쿠폰 전달, 선한영향력가게 영등포구 가맹점 확대 등을 지원한다.

특히 올해는 작년 지원 대상자의 피드백을 반영해 여름방학뿐 아니라 겨울방학까지 지원 기간을 확대했다. 또한, 아동급식카드 발급자뿐 아니라 지역아동센터 아동도 포함하여 복지 사각지대 아동들의 결식 위험을 줄이는 데 힘쓴다.
