【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 채종일, 이하 “건협”)는 지난 10월 27일 청주 성안길에서건강마을가꾸기 벽화 전달식을 개최했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에는 청주시 이현숙 관광정책과 팀장, 성안길 상인회 홍경표 회장, 박종명 이사, 청주시미술협회 배진석 회장 등이 참석했다.

벽화지원사업은 지역사회의 공공미술과 문화적 혜택을 지원하기 위해 진행하는 사회공헌활동이다. 건협은 청주 성안길 5군데 210㎡벽면에 청주미술협회 회원 작가의 그림을 그려서 오는 11월 6일까지 완성할 예정이다.

건협 채종일 회장은 “이번 벽화지원사업을 통한 밝고 쾌적한 마을환경 조성으로건강한 마을을 만드는데 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

건협 벽화지원사업은 지난 2018년 서울 강서구를 시작으로 2019년 부산 동래구 사직단길에 벽화를 지원했다. 건협은 이 외에도 장학사업과 저소득층 여성청소년보건위생물품 지원사업, 전국 보건소 대상 장애인 특화차량 지원 및 의류기증, 희귀․난치성질환자 의료비 지원사업 등의 사회공헌활동을 진행하고 있다.

The Kunhyup is scheduled to be completed by November 6th by drawing a picture by a member of the Cheongju Art Association on the 210㎡ wall in 5 Seongan-gil, Cheongju.

Chairman Chae Jong-il of Konhyup said, “I hope this mural support project will help create a healthy village by creating a bright and pleasant village environment.”

The Kunhyup Mural Support Project started with Gangseo-gu, Seoul in 2018, and provided murals on Sajikdan-gil, Dongnae-gu, Busan in 2019. In addition to this, the Konhyup is conducting social contribution activities such as scholarship programs, health care products for women and youth from low-income families, support for specialized vehicles for the disabled to public health centers, donation of clothing, and medical expenses for patients with rare and intractable diseases.
