【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원, 이하 “건협”) 제27회 전국 초등학생 금연 글짓기 공모전 시상식을 개최했다.

지난 24일 본회 추담홀에서 열린 시상식에는 건협 김인원 회장, 소년한국일보 서원극 편집국장을 비롯한 대상, 금상, 은상, 동상 수상 학생 및 학부모 등 40여 명이 참석했다.

이번 공모전에서 서울 대치초등학교 3학년 김도형 군과 서울 영중초등학교 6학년 임지후 군이 보건복지부장관상과 교육부장관상을 수상했다. 금상은 서울 광운초등학교 2학년 김현도 군과 남양주 화도초등학교 5학년 유다현 양이 차지했고, 이어서 은상, 동상 부문에 대한 시상이 이뤄졌다.

행사에서는 시상과 함께 대상작품「아빠와의 금연 할리갈리(김도형)」, 「할아버지의 잃어버린 이를 찾아서(임지후)」와 금상작품「곰의 눈물과 아빠의 눈물(김현도)」, 「금연 성공 스티커(유다현)」의 수상자 낭독시간이 이어졌다.

1995년부터 진행된 전국 초등학생 금연 글짓기 공모전은 어린이들에게 담배의 해로움을 알리고 금연의 좋은 점을 일깨워 담배 없는 건강한 사회를 만들기 위해 매년 개최하는 행사로, 올해도 9,143편의 작품이 접수되었다.

건협 김인원 회장은“이번 공모된 작품들에는 주변에서 흡연하는 가족들, 이웃들을 접하며 아이다운 시각으로 그들의 건강을 걱정하고 금연에 도움이 되고 싶다는 마음이 담겨있었다”며, “어른 스스로가 먼저 금연을 실천하고, 어린이들도 건강지킴이로서 학교에서, 가정에서 큰 역할을 해주길 바란다.”고 당부했다.

The gold medal was won by Kim Hyeon-do, a sophomore at Kwangwoon Elementary School in Seoul, and Yu Da-hyeon, a 5th grader at Hwado Elementary School in Namyangju, followed by awards in the silver and bronze categories.

At the event, the grand prize works “Smoking Smoking Halli with Dad (Do-Hyung Kim)”, “Finding Grandpa’s Lost One (Ji-Hoo Lim)” and the gold prize works “Tears of Bear and Tears of Dad (Hyun-Do Kim)”, “Smoking Success Sticker ( Yoo Da-hyun)” was followed by a reading time for the winners.

The National Elementary School Students No Smoking Writing Contest, which has been held since 1995, is an annual event held every year to inform children about the harm of smoking and to awaken the good points of smoking cessation to create a tobacco-free and healthy society.

Kim In-won, chairman of the Korea Health Association, said, “The works submitted for this contest contained the desire to help people quit smoking and worry about their health from a child-like perspective by interacting with family members and neighbors who smoke around. I hope that they practice it, and that children will play a big role at school and at home as health keeper.”
