【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원, 이하 건협)가 희귀·난치성질환연합회(회장 김재학, 이하 연합회) 환우가족의 신체 건강증진을 위한 ‘메디체크 건강방학’ 건강검진을 실시한다고 6일 밝혔다.
오는 10월 31일까지 진행되는 건강검진은 건협와 연합회가 함께하는 희귀·난치성질환 가정통합 지원사업의 일환이다.
환우의 투병기간, 중복 질환 수 등 객관적 평가를 통해 투병 중인 환우의 간병으로 일상적인 삶의 영위가 어려운 보호자 약 50여 명을 선정해 지원한다.
건협 17개 시·도지부 건강증진의원에서 기초검사, 혈액·소변질환검사, 초음파검사, 소화기검사 등 총 98개 항목에 대한 검진을 진행한다.
건협 이은희 사무총장은“후순위로 배제될 수 있는 보호자의 건강도 지원함으로써 환우가정의 안정된 치료환경과 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 적극적인 복지사각지대 발굴로 건강한 사회를 만드는데 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
