【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원, 이하 건협)은 ‘제27회 전국 초등학생 금연글짓기 공모전’ 대상을 선정했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 공모전에는 지난해보다 900여편 더 응모되어 총 9,143편이 접수됐다. 이 가운데 예심과 본심을 거쳐 942명이 입상자로 선정됐다.

본심은 아동문학가 전병호(전 한국동시문학회 회장, 심사위원장) 선생, 이창건(전 한국아동문학인협회 이사장) 선생, 소년한국일보 서원극 편집인, 건협 김현경 홍보기획실장과 강순자 홍보과장 등 5명이 맡아 진행했다. 

서울 대치초등학교 3학년 김도형 군, 서울 영중초등학교 6학년 임지후 군이 저ㆍ고학년부 대상(보건복지부‧교육부장관상)의 영예를 차지했다.

금상은 서울 광운초등 2학년 김현도 군과 남양주 화도초등 5학년 유다현 양, 은상은 인천 해원초등 3학년 박주원 등 5명이 차지했다. 

동상에는 울산 용연초등 4학년 김도환 등 10명, 가작에는 서울 대광초등 4학년 전하윤 등 25명, 그리고 장려상 50명‧입선 848명이 각각 뽑혔다.

입상 어린이의 상장과 부상은 해당학교로 보낼 예정이며 시상식은 8월 24일 서울 강서구에 위치한 한국건강관리협회 본부 추담홀에서 열린다. 

전병호 심사위원장은 심사평을 통해 “7장 내외의 글 한 편을 완성하기 위해서는 몇 시간, 아니 며칠을 고민했을 것이다. 심사위원들은 이런 어린이들의 노력을, 글에서 말하고자 하는 것이 무엇인지를 꼼꼼히 들여다봤다.”며, “모든 어린이가 작품을 통해 말하고자 하는 것이 ‘금연이 행복’임을 다시 한 번 느끼게 되어 뿌듯했다.” 고 밝혔다.

Dohyeong Kim, 3rd grader at Daechi Elementary School in Seoul, and Jihoo Lim, 6th grader at Yeongjung Elementary School in Seoul won the grand prize (Ministry of Health and Welfare and Minister of Education Award).

The awards and prizes of the winning children will be sent to the school concerned, and the awards ceremony will be held on August 24 at the Chudam Hall of the Korea Health Management Association headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

In his review, Jeon Byung-ho, chairman of the judging committee, said, “It must have taken hours, or even days, to complete an article of about 7 pages. The judges carefully looked into the efforts of these children and what they were trying to say in their writings.” He said, “I was proud to once again feel that what all children want to say through their work is 'smoking is happiness'. ” said.
