【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달성군(군수 최재훈)은 오는 15일까지 대구경북영어마을에서 저소득층을 포함한 관내 초등학생을 대상으로 집중 영어 체험학습을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
5일, 달성군에 따르면 ‘달성 영어체험 방학캠프’는 아이키우기 좋은 맞춤형 교육도시 조성을 위한 달성군의 민선8기 신규 사업으로 학교 추천으로 선발된 초등학생 50명을 대상으로 11박 12일 집중 영어체험 학습을 진행한다.
학생들은 대구경북영어마을에서 전문 원어민 강사와 미술, 코딩, 과학, 요리, 음악 등을 영어로 체험하는 에듀테인먼트 방식의 교육을 받을 수 있다.
또 주말에는 원어민 강사와 함께 필드 트립으로 달성군 관내를 영어로 탐방하게 된다.
최재훈 달성군수는 “달성 영어체험 방학캠프를 통해 영어를 즐겁게 체험하고 느끼는 시간을 가질 수 있기를 바란다"며," 많은 경험을 통해 자랑스러운 달성의 인재로 성장하길 기대한다.”고 말했다.
