20일 달성군에 따르면 ‘자립준비청년의 동행(동등한 행복)’자립키트는 생필품과 식료품 등 실생활에 꼭 필요한 물품들로 구성됐다.

또한 자립정보 온라인 플랫폼과상담센터 안내지를 함께 제공하여 보호시설을 떠나 자립을 준비하는청년들에게 맞춤형 자립 정보를 스스로 찾아볼 수 있는 기회를제공하고, 일상생활에서 경험하는 어려움과 고민을 상담할 수 있도록 한다.

자립키트는 자립준비청년 사후관리를 진행하는 아동보호전담요원이직접 가정으로 찾아가 전달하고, 자립준비청년의 생활실태에 대해서도파악할 계획이다.

최재훈 달성군수는 “해당 사업을 통해 자립을 준비하는 청년들이가지는 심리적·경제적 어려움들이 해소되는 시간이 되었으면 한다”며“청년들의 성공적인 자립을 위해 앞으로도 지역사회와 유관기관과상호 협력하여 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, 달성군은 보호종료된 자립준비청년들에게 5년간 지급되는 자립수당을 월 40만 원에서 월 50만 원으로 인상하였고, 자립정착금은1회 1,000만 원 지급한다. 또 주거 및 의료비, 취업·건강 등 다양한지원을 통해 건전한 사회구성원으로 자립할 수 있도록 적극 지원하고있다.
