【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달성군(군수 최재훈)이 세계 각국의 유학생들과 손잡고 지역 관광 홍보에 나섰다.

달성군은 9일, 계명대학교 관광경영학과 외국인 유학생들과 함께 진행한 ‘달성군 관광 콘텐츠 제작 프로젝트’ 시상식을 개최했다. 이날 우수 콘텐츠를 제작한 학생들에게는 상장과 기념품이 수여됐다.

이번 프로젝트는 미국, 중국, 베트남, 몽골, 시리아, 우즈베키스탄, 키르기스스탄, 미얀마 등 8개국 출신 유학생 60명이 팀을 이뤄 10주간 달성군의 관광지를 직접 탐방하고, 자국어로 소개하는 글과 영상을 제작해 SNS에 게시하는 방식으로 진행됐다.

총 23개의 콘텐츠가 제작됐으며, 달성군은 이를 향후 달성투어버스, 국내외 관광 홍보 행사, SNS 채널 등을 통해 적극 활용할 예정이다. 특히 각국 언어로 제작된 영상과 글은 외국인 관광객들에게 지역의 매력을 직관적으로 전달하는 데 효과적일 것으로 기대된다.

프로젝트를 이끈 계명대 최재화 교수는 “유학생들이 지역을 직접 체험하며 학문적 이해뿐 아니라 실질적인 홍보 활동까지 해낸 값진 기회였다”고 말했다.

최재훈 달성군수는 “유학생들의 시선으로 담아낸 달성군의 풍경이 세계 관광객에게 새로운 영감을 줄 것”이라며, “앞으로도 지역과 대학, 청년이 함께 성장하는 상생 모델을 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

In particular, videos and articles produced in each language are expected to be effective in intuitively conveying the charm of the region to foreign tourists.

Professor Choi Jae-hwa of Kyemyung University, who led the project, said, “It was a valuable opportunity for international students to experience the region firsthand and gain not only academic understanding but also practical promotional activities.”
