이번 행사는 ‘대학 내 산학연협력단지 조성사업’의 첫 성과로, 캠퍼스를 중심으로 한 산학협력 생태계 조성의 본격적인 신호탄이 됐다.

행사에는 1차년도 입주기업 및 2차년도 예정 기업 관계자, 계명대 교수진 등 40여 명이 참석했으며, 모빌리티관 1층에서 ▲사업 소개 ▲자금조달 특강 ▲기업 지원 방안 안내 ▲캠퍼스 투어 등이 진행됐다.

특히 FPT코리아 김정태 이사는 “SDV(Software Defined Vehicle) 기술이 핵심인 모빌리티 산업에서 계명대와의 협력은 인재 양성과 기술 개발 측면에서 큰 시너지를 낼 것”이라며, “입주 기업 간 네트워크를 기반으로 지속 가능한 성장 모델을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

FPT코리아는 자율주행 시스템 및 차량용 소프트웨어 플랫폼 개발에 강점을 가진 글로벌 R&D 기업으로, 이번 입주를 통해 지역 기반의 기술 연구를 본격화할 예정이다.

계명대는 총 107억 3천만 원(국고 79억 3천만 원 포함)을 투입해 2029년까지 단계적으로 협력 인프라를 확장할 계획이다. 또한 전기차 모터 기반 소부장 특화 인력양성, RISE 연계 현장캠퍼스 운영, 대학-기업 공동기술개발, 재직자 맞춤형 교육과정 등 다채로운 프로그램을 통해 산학 간 실질 협력을 이끌어낼 방침이다.

김범준 산학부총장(산학연협력단지사업단장)은 “이번 행사를 통해 입주기업과의 실질적인 협력기반이 마련됐다”며, “모빌리티캠퍼스를 산학연이 함께 성장하는 상생 생태계의 중심 공간으로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

계명대는 앞서 지난해 1월 모빌리티캠퍼스 조성 출범식을 통해 대구시 5대 신산업 중 하나인 미래모빌리티 산업의 정착을 위한 거점 마련에 나섰다. 향후 6년간 교육동·연구동·기업복합공간동, 도심항공교통(UAM) 버티포트 등을 구축하며, 미래형 산학연 융합모델을 실현해 나갈 예정이다.

한편, ‘대학 내 산학연협력단지 조성사업’은 대학의 유휴 공간을 활용해 기업과 공동 기술개발, 인재 양성 등을 추진하는 정부 주도 프로젝트로, 지난해 계명대를 포함한 4개 대학이 대상 학교로 선정됐다.

Keimyung University previously held a ceremony to launch the Mobility Campus in January of last year to establish a base for the establishment of the future mobility industry, one of the five new industries in Daegu. Over the next six years, it plans to build an education building, research building, corporate complex space building, and urban air traffic (UAM) vertiport, and realize a future-oriented industry-academia-research convergence model.

Meanwhile, the ‘University-Industry-Academia Cooperation Complex Development Project’ is a government-led project that promotes joint technology development and talent cultivation with companies by utilizing idle space in universities, and four universities including Keimyung University were selected as target schools last year.
