【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=계명대학교는 중국 유학생들이 베이징 현지에서 ‘계명대학교 동문의 날’행사를 개최했다고 4일 밝혔다.

지난달 30일 중국 북경어언대학 한덕헌 연회장에서 중국 전역의 계명대 중국 유학생 동문 90여 명이 참석하는‘동문의 날’ 행사가 열렸다.

이번 행사에는 신일희 총장과 윤창준 중국어중국학과 교수(공자아카데미 원장) 등 대학의 주요 관계자와 2013년 계명대에서 명예박사학위를 수득한 최희량 북경어언대학 전 총장과 계명대 동문 소영하 북경어언대학 응용중문대학 학장도 함께했다.

졸업생 대표인 여정 평정산대학 신문 및 방송대학 학장은 “편안한 생활을 포기하고 멀리 타국으로 공부하러 갔던 날이 떠오른다”며 “함께 시련과 고난을 겪었던 박사 동문들에게 감사하고 앞으로도 학교와 사회발전을 위해 모교의 가르침을 기억하겠다”고 전했다.

최희량 전 북경어언대학 총장은 “계명대학교 창립 125주년을 축하하며, 뜻 깊은 날 초대해주셔서 감사하다”며 “신일희 총장님께서 한국과 중국의 학생들에게 학습과 발전 기회를 주시고, 문화교류를 통해 교육 협력의 영광스러운 성취를 거두었다”고 밝혔다.

신일희 계명대 총장은 “타국에서 계명을 잊지 않고 모여준 우리 대학의 중국인 졸업생들에게 고맙다”며 “앞으로도 너와 나, 우리가 함께하는 계명인이 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.
