19일 달성군에 따르면 군의 2025년 예산은 27만 군민들이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 지역의 경제위기 극복과 민선8기 주요공약사업에 중점을 두고 편성됐다.

주요사업 예산으로는 대구시 최초로 시행한 어린이집 무상보육(특별활동비) 지원을 위한 33억 원, 달성군 거주 외국인 아동 보육료 지원 사업 7.7억 원, 24시간 시간제 보육 지원사업 4.5억 원, 어린이집 영어전담교사 배치 사업 15억 원 등이 있다.

달성군은 젊고 역동적인 군의 특성에 맞는 교육정책 추진을 위해 방과후 영재 프로그램 운영 6억 원, 글로벌 창의인재센터 과학캠프 운영 3억 원, 다문화가족 늘봄 프로그램 운영 1.5억 원 등 교육발전특구 사업에 총 32억 원을 편성했다. 더불어 늘어나는 교육수요와 달성의 우수 인재 양성을 위한 달성교육재단 출연금으로 40억 원을 편성하는 등 교육 분야에 총 174억 원을 투입하여 미래산업의 중심인 보육과 교육에 집중할 예정이다.

민생경제 회복에도 총력을 기울인다. 기업 및 일자리 원스톱 지원시스템 구축을 위한 달성군 기업플러스 일자리 지원센터 설립 7억 원, 장기화된 경기침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인과 중소기업 지원을 위해 소상공인 경영안정자금 13억 원, 중소기업 경영안정자금 18억 원, 지속 가능한 성장기반 마련을 위한 시설투자 융자 지원 사업으로 기술보증기금 10억 원이 편성됐다.

군은 소득안정을 위한 사업으로 벼 재배농가 지원 14억 원, 농식품바우처사업 5.9억 원, 청년 농업인 영농정착지원 3억 원, 농촌 인력 제공을 위해 농촌인력중개센터 및 계절 근로자 프로그램 운영 9,700만 원을 편성했다. 또, 남부 농기계 임대사업장 이전 사업에 35억 원, 미래 농업환경에 대비하기 위한 농촌공간 재구조화 및 재생 기본계획 수립 용역에 5억 원을 편성하여 농업경쟁력을 강화시킬 예정이다.

모두가 행복한 복지구현을 위해 찾아가는 이동건강버스 운영에 6,100만 원, 참전유공자 명예수당 및 생계곤란 독립유공자 유족 특별 위로금 등 각종 수당에 39억 원이 편성됐으며, 경로당 일거리 창출사업과 노인일자리 및 사회활동지원사업에 189억 원, 노인여가활동 지원 34억 원, 여성문화센터 및 가족센터 운영 지원 32억 원, 장애인복지관 및 주간보호센터 운영 32억 원, 장애인 거주시설 및 공동생활가정 운영지원 36억 원을 편성하여 사각지대 없는 복지행정을 펼칠 방침이다.

지역균형발전을 위한 사업으로 ▷24시간 종합응급실 운영이 가능한 응급의료기관 지원 12억 원 ▷자연부락 도시가스 공급시설 설치비 지원 31억 원 ▷교통 취약지 주민들의 이동권 확보를 위한 농촌형 교통모델 5.9억 원 ▷신도심과 구도심 주변에서 일상화된 주차난 해소를 위해 마을공영주차장 조성 61억 원 ▷도시계획도로 및 도로 정비사업 495억 원 ▷소하천 정비 14억 원 ▷구거 및 용배수로 정비 17억 원을 편성했다.

지역 주민들의 문화생활 향유를 위한 시설 확충 사업으로는 화원 복합커뮤니티센터 건립공사 50억 원, 논공 다다촌 거점공간(2개소) 건립 공사 설계비 4억 원, 달천예술창작공간 복합문화공간 조성사업 설계비 22백만원, 서재 생활문화센터 건립 설계비 16억 원을 투입할 예정이다.

군민들의 힐링 공간 조성을 위해 ▷금호강 그랜드밸리 녹색산책길 조성 9.5억 원 ▷낙동강 메타세쿼이아 산책길 조성 5억 원 ▷현풍천 경관개선사업 24억 원 ▷유가 테크노폴리스 중앙공원 야간경관개선사업 19억 원 ▷가창 용계교 상징경관 개선사업 3억 원 ▷화원동산 정원화사업 설계비 1억 원 ▷비슬구천공원 정비사업 10억 원 ▷가창 최정산 舊 군사시설(위성관측소) 활성화 사업 2.3억 원을 편성했다.

군은 관광 및 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 관광 사업으로 아웃도어 레포츠밸리 조성(캠핑지구) 2.5억 원, 화원 워터프론트 개발사업 3.5억 원, 최신 트렌드에 맞는 산림휴양시설 확충을 위한 비슬산자연휴양림 리모델링 설계비 2억 원을 편성했으며, 체육시설 확충을 위해 논공 위천 하류구간 파크골프장 조성 17억 원, 하빈 파크골프장 조성 10억 원, 화원명곡체육공원 운동장 정비공사 10억 원, 화원 설화리 족구장 조성공사 1억 원, 다사 세천 파크골프장 부대시설 정비공사 2.5억 원을 편성했다.

최재훈 달성군수는 “경제 불확실성이 지속되고 있는 가운데 민생경제 안정과 달성의 미래 성장을 위한 사업에 중점을 두고 편성한 2025년도 예산이 확정됐다”면서 “교육, 문화, 관광, 일자리, 경제, 주민 복지 등 군민들이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 사업들을 꼼꼼히 추진해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
