【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 중구(구청장 류규하)는 '2022년 장애인복지사업평가'에서 229개 시군구 중 전국 1위인 대상을 수상했다고 26일 밝혔다.

 장애인복지사업평가는 장애인복지 사업의 효율적 추진기반 조성과 지역 장애인복지 수준 향상을 위해 2020년 도입되었으며 매년 장애인 자립지원사업, 복지서비스, 전달체계 등 총 4개 분야 37개 지표를 평가하여 우수한 지자체에 주어지는 상이다.

중구는 장애인복지시설, 장애인단체, 지역주민과 소통하며 중구만의 특색 있는 맞춤형 장애인복지사업을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다.

24시간 장애인 공공돌봄체계 확충을 위해 중증장애인활동보조사업 대상자 선정기준을 선도적으로 완화하고, 발달장애인 예술공연팀 운영 및 시각장애인 안마사파견사업 등에 구비예산을 지원했다. 

특히 장애인의 수요와 욕구반영을 위한 장애인 실태조사를 전국 시군구 최초로 실시했으며, 와상 중증장애인에게 기저귀와 의료용품을 지원하는 스마일 어게인사업과 전동휠체어 장애인의 장거리여행 편의지원을 위한 휠체어전동화키트 대여사업 등 다양한 신규 장애인복지사업을 적극 추진했다.

 류규하 중구청장은 “이번 대상 수상을 초석으로, 2023년에는 제1기 중구 장애인복지 기본계획을 수립하여 지속적인 민·관협력을 통한 내실있는 장애인복지사업의 추진과, 민선8기 공약인 장애인복지 인프라 구축으로 장애인 뿐 아니라 주민 모두가 다 함께 행복한 맞춤형 복지중구를 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
