【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 오는 21일부터 26일까지 봉산문화회관 제1전시실에서 '2025년 대구미술의 중심展'을 연다.
올해 14회를 맞은 이번 전시는 대구 중구미술협회 회원들의 작품을 선보이는 지역 대표 미술행사다.
2011년경 시작된 이래 주민들에게 무료로 미술작품 감상 기회를 제공하고, 지역 작가들에게는 예술 활동 무대가 되어 왔다.
올해는 '일상의 행복과 동행'이라는 주제로 68점의 작품이 전시된다. 지난해 '자연과 사람'을 주제로 55점을 선보여 호평받은 것에 비해 작품 수가 더 늘어났다.
중구미술협회는 매년 색다른 주제로 전시를 꾸민다. 주민들이 일상 속 행복을 되새기고 작가들의 시선으로 세상을 바라볼 수 있도록 작품을 준비했다.
류규하 중구청장은 "대구미술의 중심展은 중구의 예술적 역량과 다양성을 뽐내는 대표적인 행사"라며 "깊어가는 가을에 이번 전시를 계기로 차분한 마음과 함께 풍부한 감수성을 충전하시길 바란다"고 말했다.

Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha said, "The Daegu Art Center Exhibition is a representative event that shows off Jung-gu's artistic capabilities and diversity," and added, "I hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to recharge your mind and rich sensibilities as autumn deepens."
