중구보건소(소장 황석선)는 9일 대구우체국(국장 이맹호)과 함께 ‘건강우정’이라는 이름의 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

이에 따라 지역 내 건강취약계층 지원과 건강 형평성 향상을 위한 공동 사업을 추진한다.

이번 협약은 변화된 지역 인구 구조와 건강통계에 맞춰 마련된 것으로, 특히 젊은 층 유입과 도시형 건강취약지역 증가에 대응하는 새로운 시도로 주목받고 있다.

협약에 따라 양 기관은 ▲우정사업 종사자를 위한 건강증진 프로그램 운영과 건강리더 양성 ▲우편망을 활용한 보건사업 홍보 ▲집배 업무 중 건강서비스가 필요한 주민 발견 시 보건소 연계 등 실질적인 협력 체계를 구축한다.

특히 오는 14일에는 대구우체국에서 ‘건강우정 프로젝트’ 캠페인이 진행된다.

행사에서는 우정사업 종사자들을 대상으로 건강 측정, 개인별 건강 상담, 금연 클리닉, 스트레스 검사 등 다양한 건강관리 서비스가 제공될 예정이다.

중구보건소는 이번 협약을 계기로 지역 맞춤형 건강협력 모델을 더욱 확장해 나갈 계획이다.
